In this video I'll walk through how to create a hyperlink from a Power BI report to open a Maximo Work Order.
This functionality is great when you have a dashboard that has a drill through to a list of work orders. After you have drilled through to find a specific work order it is often useful to be able to see the exact record in the Maximo system.
Converting the work order number to a hyperlink is the icing on the cake and allows the user of the Power BI dashboard to make that final leap into Maximo. Perhaps they need to update some of the data or investigate the contents of a specific work order further.
