Maintenance KPI – % Availability and % Technical Availability In Power BI – Scenario 1

In this video, you'll learn how to calculate the percentage availability in Power BI.

In this scenario, we will use a log of downtime events to calculate the availability of a machine. The assumption is that the machine is planned to run continuously unless it has been stopped for planned maintenance or has broken down and requires corrective maintenance.

I'll also cover the % Technical Availability and explain the difference between this measure and % Availability.
