Maintenance KPI – MTBF, MDT & % Availability In Power BI Scenario 2 – Duty / Standby Machines

In this video, I'll explain how to calculate availability %, MTBF, and MDT in Power BI when you have 2 machines. One is running while the other is on standby. This is also known as a duty/standby configuration.

I'll spend some time talking through the scenario. Then go on to cover the data that you need to collect to be able to calculate each of these measures in Power BI.

Finally, we'll move into Power BI and create the measures you need to create the metrics.
