Why You Need a Dates Table in Power BI and How to Create One

All but the most basic of Power BI data models should have a structured dates table. 

This is particularly true if you want to use the wealth of DAX "Time-Intelligence" function that are available. 

In this video I'll take you through examples of why you need a dates table and then explain how to set-up one up.
